Fall, winter, spring, summer — no matter the season, you can find me strolling this beach beneath the rolling clouds above. They don’t keep me away. Their presence on the coast is what makes the skyline so distinct.

When a pop of sunshine breaks through the overcast sky, it lands as a welcome warmth on my skin during these final winter days. I can feel the tides and seasons shifting. Days are growing longer. The skies are beginning to lift.

Soon the sprawling sand and tide pools will warm up enough for me to wander barefoot along one of my favourite beaches once again.
